Under the authority of Sheriff Robert G. Luna, the LASD Uniform and Equipment Coordinator has officially approved the following LEOTAC products for department use:
- LeoAir Nylon duty belt system
- LeoAir Synthetic Leather duty belt system
- LeoAir LEO TAC Nylon duty belt system
Requirement: Black color, basketweave, nylon, or textured synthetic finish.
Los Angeles Police Department
Approved: February 19, 2026
The LAPD Uniform and Equipment Committee (Notice 1.12) has approved the LEO TAC Lightweight Duty Belt and Accessories for department sworn personnel. Approved items include:
- Sam Browne belt
- Inner belt
- Magazine pouch
- OC spray holder
- Handcuff pouch
- Baton ring
- Key ring
- Belt keepers
The committee noted the system is “durable, lighter in weight, superior suspension system, capable of being shined with traditional shoe polish.”
